عمران خان(درزندان است)صلاحیتش برای شانزدهمین دوره پارلمان پاکستان تأییدشد،یک زندانی درایران هم صلاحیتش برای انتخابات دوره دوازدهم مجلس شورای اسلامی تأییدشد.درادامه ببینید.

​۱۲۸ میلیون نفر از جمعیت ۲۴۱ میلیونی پاکستان، بالای ۱۸ سال واجد شرایط رای دادن هستند.

انتخابات در یک حوزه ملی و سه حوزه شورای ولایتی به دلیل کشته شدن نامزدهای رقابتی به تعویق افتاده است(«باجور»، «باجور»، «کوهات» و «رحیم یار خان») روزگذشته در دو نفجار ۴۰ نفرکشته شدند.

«مجلس ملی پاکستان» دارای ۳۳۶ کرسی است که از این تعداد ۲۶۶ نامزد از طریق فرآیند رای گیری مستقیم رأی گیری می کنند.

۷۰ صندلی در نظر گرفته شده است،۶۰ صندلی برای زنان و ۱۰ کرسی برای غیر مسلمانان.
پاکستان شانزدهمین پارلمان خود را تشکیل خواهد داد.
۹۰ هزار و ۵۸۲شعبه رای دهی در سراسر کشور برای رای گیری دایر شده است.

۲۷۶۴۰۲ صندوق رای در سراسر کشور راه اندازی شده است.
در مجموع ۶۹ میلیون رای دهنده زن و ۵۹ میلیون رای دهنده مرد وجود دارد.
در میان رای دهندگان جوان، ۲۳.۵۱ میلیون رای دهنده بین ۱۸ تا ۲۵ سال و ۳۳.۳۴ میلیون رای بین ۲۶ تا ۳۵ سال دارند. ۴۴ درصد رای دهندگان زیر ۳۵ سال سن دارند.
